Get ready for the YouTube Premiere on Monday 6 February for our online Q&A with Black Panther movie drummer, Magatte Sow Fall, and Black Panther djembe supplier, Wooden Roots who are based in Suffolk.

In partnership with Britten Pears Arts, our founder, Elma Glasgow, talks to...
Marcus Brown of leading West African drumming company Wooden Roots and his friend Magatte Sow Fall - artist, musician and composer, 3 x Grammy award winner who plays worldwide. He features on both Black Panther film scores, and appears in an early scene in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
Magatte, who jumped on the Q&A while in Senegal recently, has played with artists including Stevie Wonder, Earth, Wind & Fire, Youssou N'dour, Baba Maal, John Legend, Jill Scott, Angélique Kidjo, and Janelle Monae.

We talk about friendship; making drums for Black Panther; Magatte's background; his work with Ryan Coogler and Ludwig Göransson; the complexity and sacred nature of the djembe; and more.
The Q&A is inspired by Power of Stories, the acclaimed community-driven exhibition which features 3 original from Marvel Studios' Black Panther 1.
